Camp Frontier: Mexico 2008

March 15-22:
Pico 2 Playa Expedition Training Week

Join Frontier Adventure Sports and Esprit Rafting for a week of tropical, all-inclusive Adventure Race training and certification. The camp will feature Bob Miller, one of North America’s top adventure racers and course designers, Jim & Erin Coffey, owners of Esprit Rafting and rafting, paddling, ropes and first aid experts, and Geoff Langford, owner and race director of Frontier Adventure Sports.

Our new Pico 2 Playa Expedition Training Week, will step up your skills and endurance training during a staged expedition from Pico de Orizaba to the Gulf of Mexico, stopping in camps and huts along the way!

IS THIS FOR YOU? Anyone with a basic level of cardio fitness and an interest in improving their outdoor adventure sport and safety skills could undertake this camp.

Our flexible approach to instruction means you'll get exactly what you need in each skills component, while everyone learns the same tips and tricks specific to AR.

The curriculum allows for skill improvement at all levels, and the safety and first aid components are worth refreshing for everyone. The Pico 2 Playa Week offers an unforgettable supported wilderness adventure.

The format of this week offers learning, improvement, and sharing to those that seek it, or a great physical training opportunity for those that just want to move! Sharpen your weak areas, explore and share your strengths, and enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Once you arrive in Veracruz, everything from your private transportation to your freshly prepared meals, accommodation, race support, professional instruction and guide services are all taken care of, so that you can concentrate on the purpose of your week in Mexico - training hard and having fun exploring Mexico!
