Following up the huge success of the 2006 Salomon Adventure Challenge winter race will be tough, but we're up for it. Several inches of fresh snow overnight, a sunny beautiful day, over 50 teams racing through the scenic Dufferin Forest wilderness, and the Running Freeks pumping out the tunes to keep the post-race party humming. Andre Turcotte returns with an all-new course design featuring FAR's classic race style - Real Wilderness. Real Navigation. Real Adventure. Cozy cabins, great food, a fun community of racers, a plethora of prizing, and a licensed after-party...it's hard to find a better way to spend your weekend.

LOCATION: Mansfield Outdoor Centre. One hour north of Toronto, Mansfield features some incredible winter terrain to play in, surrounded by 3000 acres of the Dufferin County Forest. After the race, return to Mansfield's historic main lodge featuring a fireplace, and heated cabins only steps away.

GREAT PRIZING: The top teams in each of the coed, all-male, and all-female categories will win an entry to the Salomon Adventure Challenge Canadian Championship in the fall, plus tons of great gear prizes from our sponsors.

BIGGER, BETTER POST-RACE DINNER AND AWARDS: Take time after you cross the finish line, share stories with fellow competitors, clean up, enjoy the surroundings. We'll all have a great social dinner, and enjoy the fun and inclusive awards. Then...

THE BEST POST-RACE PARTY: You voted us Best Post-Race Party (Get Out There Magazine, 2006). The bar will be open, the tunes will be playing, and the prizing will be flying all night long.

STAY ON SITE: We've got great accommodations and meal packages, so make a weekend of it. Come Friday night for the pasta feed-up social, stay Saturday night to celebrate your achievement, and explore more of the area on Sunday. SUNDAY YOGA: Come relax on Sunday morning with a free one-hour yoga session. A certified yoga instructor will guide us through some stretching and breathing exercises to help us center ourselves after a hard day of racing and partying.

FINISH LINE RELIEF: Our friends from Sports Performance Centres will be set up at the finish line to provide complimentary athletic therapy and active release therapy to soothe your sore, achy muscles.
