Other interesting (maybe) stuff:
I'm the father of two young children (4.5 and 7) and balance my AR training schedule with running after two amazingly energetic grommets (great interval training, really) and some semblance of a normal life with my wife. I also develop and teach AR training courses for Ecospirit Adventures and Mind Over Mountain in Vancouver, BC and love to see the enthusiasm and joy of people as they are introduced to our sport. Past sports that I've given up to be a dad and adventure racer are white water paddling, mountaineering, ocean yacht racing, and ski mountaineering. |
